Eleshnitsa, 2025. Neighbourhood in the Mining Town of Eleshnitsa, Bulgaria. While I sketched, the local kids were so curious they sent scouts to watch what I’m doing, asking my why I would want to draw „these ugly houses“. When I showed them the finished picture, I could literally see the pride for their village in their eyes. An unforgettable experience.
