Waves. Capturing waves for me is always an abstraction. A wave doesn’t begin or end, it is a continuum of water, forever flowing. My waves emerge from instinctual movements of the hand, following the rhythm of the sea rather than its exact form. Black ink anchors the gesture, while watercolour carries the motion forward. These lines are not planned; they rise and fall like tides, shaped by intuition and the fluidity of the medium.
