2025 and 2026 saw a series of Cretan Houses from Kamilari and Pitsidia. I was so fascinated by these houses and their stories and histories. Many of them are being demolished, or renovated in a way that destroys the original foundation and effect. I sketched them in an effort to preserve this architectural heritage.

In the Psiloritis Mountain Range, 2026. I was sketching this picture in a taverna in Apostoli while waiting for my food. In Crete, that can take a while, so I got used to sketch the views from the tavernas. This time however, when the waiter came, he recognized his own house. He was so happy, he called his whole family and friends, and pictures of this sketch have been circulating in the area ever since.
